One of two men challenging the country's marijuana laws in superior court made a brief appearance in Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday.
Mark MacDonald, 49, is charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and some firearms offences.
MacDonald was charged in December 2008. He has since gotten approval from Health Canada for a medical marijuana licence.
He needs more time because he's filing an appeal with Legal Aid to change lawyers and will return Oct. 13
